Uncle Johns passed away in the wee hours of Sunday morning. He was buried in a cemetary on a hill overlooking Orosi (suburb south of Costa Rica). Mom took this lovely photo of a rainbow as he was being laid to rest.
So sorry to hear about your uncle, Pam. I'll be lifting your family in prayer. The picture with the rainbow is really neat. What a great sign of hope in a time of grief.

Orosi is not really a suburb of San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. It is a small town of perhaps 2000 about 1 1/2 hours' drive southeast of San Jose, on the Orosi River in the Orosi valley in Cartago Province. It is coffee-growing country, and Johns's burial plot is right next to a field of coffee plants. The town is also near Tapanti National Park, which is tropical rain forest with lots of annual rainfall.
